Computational Portal
A menu driven web portal to Life Science software programs. Access to the software is provided through forms that the user fills in. The portal then runs the programs and returns the results to the user via email notification. The portal provides a view of the program output which the user can then download as either individual files or as a compressed bundle all at once. The portal is password protected and job output is private to the user unless expressely shared. Sharing is group based. Accounts are granted to any UAF affiliated Life Science researcher or group. File Share Service
An OS neutral file system capable of being used anywhere there is a network connection and generally works through firewalls. Accounts are granted to any UAF affiliated Life Science research group. Information in GenBank flat files is converted to XML and indexed with swish-e;
thousands of index files queried across a compute cluster. Words indexed are
